Miller Fire

The permanent collection consists of fire apparatus, personal protective tools and equipment, communication consoles, uniforms, trophies, and fire suppression materials from a period spanning more than 150 years from before the Denver Fire Department was formed in 1866 to the present. The Museum holds an extensive collection of works on paper which includes local and national artists. The collection also includes a manuscript, photograph and archive collection. The centerpiece of our collection is the historic firehouse itself, built in 1909 and celebrating 100 years of firefighting history.

For research requests or additional information on the collections please contact Winifred Ferrill, Chief Curator at win@denverfirefightersmuseum.org or (303)-892-1436.
