Discover the life of a firefighter through a guided tour of the Museum! Experience the story of Denver Fire Station One and firefighting in Denver, past and present. Learn about fire communications, view the equipment they used, see antique fire apparatus, and share in stories about Denver’s biggest fires. Following the tour, the group will move to the Discount Tire Co. Educational Center to participate in a short presentation on fire safety for older adults. This fun program uses nostalgic radio and T.V. trivia, songs, pictures and humor to reinforce important fire safety issues specific to older adults.
